The science behind meditation
Over the past 20 years there has been much scientific study done on mediation and what was once seen as a bit of a esoteric practice has come to be endorsed by science and millions of people all over the world have embraced meditation to improve their life and general well-being. According to the latest scientific research meditation has been shown to help with: Anxiety, Depression, Chronic stress, Mental congestion
Meditation and EFT - Tying the Two Together!
When you combine meditation with EFT you have a very powerful alliance that will help to turbocharge your overall healing and progress. Please keep in mind though that tapping comes before meditation. It’s hard to put yourself into a meditative state when you have a lot of inner turmoil and just general stress. It’s like having a tiger sitting behind you and your trying to be calm and relaxed. It just doesn’t work! Hence why tapping is used before meditation. It helps you get into that relaxed state. Once in that state you wont feel like a failure at meditation and give up on it instantly.
The Importance of Establishing a Meditation Routine
Just like with so many things in our lives, you must establish a proper routine for meditation to work. After all, you do this with so many other things like exercise, riding a bike, learning a new language etc. Our brains are wired for routine and structure according to neuroscience. Joining our meditation mornings will help you get into this routine. Get to learn more about yourself and how your mind works in the process and if you discover it’s not for you then that’s okay. Give it a try though and see how meditation can help you at this stage of your life.
